Joy

Joy has a funny way about it. The more piled on, the deeper it gets. Unlike most things in life, such as material possessions, schedules, sugar, dirt, the piling on of layer after layer does not lead to feeling encumbered. Counter-intuitively, more is liberating. That is the beauty of joy. The more we pile on, the freer we feel. A case when more does not equal less. The more free we are to be and love. The more we serve with immediacy and abandon. The more we act in joy, the more joy we get back. Joy gives and joy is given. And with both, we add another dose of joy. I dare you to try to give away your joy. You get so much back, you will never empty.
